The easiest way is to use our configurator. Here you can choose the artwork and humbucker options to your liking. As you change the options, the total price updates automatically. Submitting your build does not obligate you to purchase the guitar. After receiving your submission, we’ll contact you, go over the options you selected, and inform you about payment, the build time, and shipping.

All our guitars are built to order, and this process takes up to roughly two months. Please also keep in mind that international shipping usually adds another two weeks. The timeline may be slightly longer during periods of high demand or if you request special custom features. We will keep you updated throughout the entire process so you always know how your guitar is progressing.

Shipping is generally included in the price. If you happen to live in a truly remote or exotic location (think the Falkland Islands or Nauru), we may need to charge a small additional fee. If you prefer to pick up your guitar at our workshop in person, you can expect a generous discount on the final price.

A zero fret is an extra fret placed just before the first fret, in the position where a traditional nut would normally define string height. On our guitars, the nut sits slightly behind the zero fret and serves only to guide the spacing between strings. We prefer using a zero fret because it improves playability and ensures that open strings sound more like fretted notes, giving the instrument a more consistent tone and feel across all strings.

The woodwork (the neck and inner frame) is crafted by one of Vietnam’s top luthiers, Do Viet Dung, while each guitar body is hand‑painted by Vietnamese artist Ly 'Cua' Nguyen. This means every guitar is truly unique, as each version of her artwork has its own distinctive details.

The standard for oil‑can guitars is a one‑gallon F‑style can (9.45 in × 6.30 in × 4.13 in). Finding high‑quality cans of this type has always been one of our main priorities. In Southeast Asia there are many manufacturers producing oil cans, but having them custom‑made requires ordering extremely large quantities (5,000 units or more), while the quality is often inconsistent and the cans are very prone to dents and other damage. We eventually found a Japanese manufacturer of laboratory containers who produces cans that meet all our requirements and offer excellent, consistent quality.

Absolutely! There are a few limitations, though. We cannot use artwork that is protected by copyright. If you still want to use copyrighted material, you’ll need to arrange the copyright permission yourself — a process that is often expensive and complicated. A smarter option is to work with us to adjust the design so that copyright no longer applies. A second limitation is that we cannot apply photographs or highly detailed artwork. The Mona Lisa on a guitar body? Unfortunately not. Depending on the complexity of your design, additional costs may apply. The best way to provide us with a custom design is to download the template from our configurator. This template includes a transparent PNG file showing the exact positions of the humbuckers, bridge, and neck, allowing you to adjust your design to these positions.

Some designs are far more labor‑intensive than others. A Mondrian‑style pattern is relatively straightforward to apply, while a piece like Peter Behrens’ The Kiss requires an extremely time‑consuming process. The level of detail, the number of layers, and the precision involved all influence the final price.

We offer several humbucker configurations to choose from. Our ArtCore series features a neck humbucker only, while our Double Trouble guitars have both a neck and a bridge humbucker.

Please note that when choosing the Double Trouble configuration, not all of our designs are available, as the additional bridge humbucker leaves less room for the artwork.

You can also choose from humbuckers by Tonerider, Seymour Duncan, or our OEM range.

Absolutely! You can mention this in the Remarks field of the configurator. Please keep in mind that we can only install ring‑mounted humbuckers (Les Paul–style). If you prefer high‑end humbuckers from brands like Seymour Duncan or DiMarzio, please note that these are difficult to obtain and quite expensive in Vietnam, where we are based.
